Protect Your Plumbing!

It’s that time of year when temperatures are falling and your pipes are at risk for freezing. A frozen pipe will burst and can cause major water damage to your home. Here are a few quick tips to prevent that from happening:

1) Make sure your home is properly heated
2) For any interior plumbing fixtures that are next to an outside wall, leave the faucet at a slow drip to keep the water flowing.
3) Insulate your outside water spigots.

These simple steps can help prevent frozen pipes and a possible costly home insurance claim.
